What the bridge kernel builds

Width is the span. The deck sits at half the height, using the palette floor block, and it does not cover the outermost lines of the depth. Those edges are where the rails go: one layer above the deck, palette fence, on both long sides. Oak gives an oak fence. Stone brick gives a stone-brick wall. Nether brick gives a nether-brick fence. The word bridge does not also select a second material. Palette rules are in the prompt tips.

Each end has a pier made of the accent block, two blocks thick, from the bottom of the file up to the deck. Under the deck, a shallow arch of wall blocks rises toward the middle and falls toward the ends. It is a single course, not a stone vault you can walk inside. There is no roadway marking, no slab surface separate from the floor block, and no gate. Air fills everything else, including the space under the arch. That air matters when you paste.

Size that matches a crossing

The prefilled bridge is 19×8×7. Nineteen blocks of span fits in the free cap of 20, so you can download it without Pro. Depth 7 is the deck width plus the rail lines. Height 8 puts the deck near the middle and leaves room for the arch underneath. If you only type “long bridge” with no number, you get the default for that kernel, not an infinite span. “Large” becomes 22 before the clamp, which free then cuts to 20. Pro allows up to 48, so a typed 40×10×9 bridge is a Pro compile. The full clamp table is size limits. Three-digit numbers are not read. 100 becomes 10.

Place it in survival or paste it

For a survival build, download the .litematic and import it into Litematica. Move the placement so the piers meet the banks. The origin is the minimum corner of the box, not the center of the river. Move and rotate until the span crosses the gap. Layer mode at deck height shows the walkway without the arch clutter. Build the piers first so the deck has somewhere to land. Materials and a river crossing

The material list counts deck blocks, rail blocks, pier blocks, and the arch. Air is omitted. On an oak bridge the deck is oak planks, the rails are oak fence, and the piers use the oak palette’s accent, which is cobblestone. A stone-brick bridge swaps those for stone, stone-brick walls, and cobblestone accents. Build or paste the piers down to a solid bank. The arch is decoration under the span. It is not a second path, and it may sit in the water if you lower the placement. Raise Y until the deck clears the river and the piers still touch ground. If the piers hang in the air, the box is too short for that gorge. Generate a taller bridge, or extend the piers by hand after the hologram is in place.

Two bridges do not connect automatically. Place a second copy and overlap the piers if you need a longer road than the cap allows. Free stops at 20 on a side, so a very long crossing is several placements or a Pro compile up to 48. Lock each placement after it lines up so you do not nudge one span off the other while building. The file has no minecart rail and no powered rail. If you want a railway, lay it on the finished deck yourself. The kernel will not add it from the word “rail” in a sentence, because rail in this file means the fence along the edge.
