How to use Litematica
Litematica is a Fabric mod. It projects a schematic as a hologram and tells you which blocks you still need. It does not give you free blocks.
- Install the Fabric loader for your Minecraft version, then MaLiLib, then Litematica.
- Boot the instance once so it creates the schematics folder.
- Get a .litematic (generate one here, or export from a world with Litematica).
- Load it (M → Load Schematics), place the hologram, lock the position.
- Use the material list and easy-place / layer mode while you build.
Keys you actually use
- M — main menu (load, placements, material list).
- Layer mode — build one Y-level at a time so the hologram is readable.
- Easy place — optional; still requires the item in your inventory.
Material list vs this site
After the hologram is placed, Litematica’s material list is the live count of what is still missing in the world. This generator’s list is the full recipe before you start. Both should agree on totals. Details: Litematica material list.

How do I install Litematica?
Java Edition + Fabric loader + MaLiLib + Litematica, matching the game version. Forge-only instances will not load it.
Does Litematica give me free blocks?
No. It projects a hologram and a shopping list. You still mine, craft, and place. Easy place still requires the item in your inventory.
