Litematica material list

Litematica’s material list is why survival players use the mod. The hologram shows where blocks go; the list shows what to mine. This generator computes that list from the same grid it writes into the .litematic.

After you generate, the inventory panel lists every non-air block with counts. Download CSV if you want to paste it into a spreadsheet or a shopping-mod ignore list. Air is omitted. Doors and stairs are one entry per block, not per item stack.

Litematica material list not showing

The mod does not keep a global shopping list. It reads the currently loaded placement. If Material List is blank:

  • The schematic never loaded (wrong folder — see the import guide).
  • You opened the menu before placing the hologram.
  • The HUD in the bottom-right is disabled in Litematica’s config (render info HUD / material list HUD).
  • You switched dimension or world; placements are per-world.

Remaining vs available

Remaining is “still missing from the hologram”. Available is inventory the mod counted. Layer mode keeps remaining readable on tall towers so the list is not 2,000 mixed stone brick. Place the hologram, open Material List from the M menu; missing vs available updates as you build.

What is the Litematica material list?

It is the survival shopping list for a hologram: each block id and how many you still need. This generator prints the same totals as CSV before you download the .litematic.

Why is the Litematica material list not showing?

The list is empty until a placement exists. Load the schematic, place the hologram, then open Material List from the M menu. If the HUD in the bottom right is also blank, the placement is off or you opened the list from a world with no loaded schematic.

What does remaining mean on the material list?

Remaining (sometimes labeled missing) is blocks still needed versus the hologram. Available is what Litematica saw in your inventory. This site’s CSV is the full recipe — remaining equals that total on an empty plot.

Why don’t the counts match the generator?

Litematica’s in-game list subtracts blocks already placed. The site list is the full recipe. After an empty plot they should match. Stairs, slabs, and doors count as one block each.
