What the fountain kernel builds

The generator draws a filled disk of the accent block on the bottom layer, then replaces the inside of it with water, leaving a one-block ring of the accent block (cobblestone in the oak and stone palettes) around the edge. In the middle it stacks a three-by-three pillar of the wall block, from the layer above the pond up to one layer below the top of the box. A single water block sits in the top layer, on the centre line, directly above the pillar. When that source runs, the water spreads over the top of the pillar and falls down its sides into the pond.

There is no step around the pond, no lighting, and no fence. The rim is flush with the water, because both are on the same layer. For a raised rim, stack a second ring of cobblestone on it yourself. That is a ring of 20 blocks on the 11-wide size.

Pick dimensions

Width and depth set the pond: the radius is half of the smaller side minus one. The height only sets how tall the pillar is, since the pillar runs to the layer just under the top. A flat pond with a short pillar is 11×4×11; a taller feature is 15×10×15. An odd width keeps the pillar centred on one block. Free downloads go up to 20 per side and Pro up to 48; see size limits. To change the stone, use a palette word from prompt tips.

Place it

Load the .litematic in Litematica as described in the load guide and work from the rim inward. If the hologram is hard to see over grass, adjust its opacity. For a creative paste, download the .schem and follow the WorldEdit steps.

A fountain suits the middle of a circle arena or the yard of a castle. Java Edition only.

FAQ

What words make the generator build a fountain?

Fountain or well. Because well is a common English word, a prompt like “a well built castle” can match it. Several other shapes take priority: castle, tower, bridge, pyramid, dome, and arch are checked first.

What is in an 11x6x11 stone brick fountain?

The compile has 20 cobblestone for the rim, 30 water blocks, and 36 stone bricks for the centre pillar. An oak palette swaps the stone bricks for oak planks and keeps the cobblestone rim.

Is the water included?

Yes. The file places the pond water and one more water block on top of the pillar. They are ordinary water blocks, so in survival you fill them with a bucket after the stone is up.

How deep is the pond?

One layer. The rim and the water are on the bottom layer of the file, with nothing below. If you want a sunken pond, place the schematic one block lower than the ground around it.

Does the fountain fill the whole box?

No. It is round, so the corners of the footprint stay empty. The radius is the smaller of width and depth, halved, minus one. An 11-wide box gives a radius of 4.
