Litematica download: the right jar for each Minecraft version
Open the full generator for all 13 build types, palettes and sizes.
Litematica ships a different Fabric jar for almost every Minecraft version, and each needs a matching MaLiLib build. Below is the newest release-type file of each, read from the Modrinth version API on 2026-10-05, with the page on this site for versions that have their own guide.
- Find the exact Minecraft version you launch in the table below and note the Litematica and MaLiLib file names.
- Open the Litematica project on Modrinth, choose Versions, filter by that game version and the Fabric loader, and download the Litematica file.
- On the MaLiLib project do the same and download the MaLiLib file. Add Fabric API for the same game version.
- Put the jars in the mods folder of the Fabric instance for that Minecraft version, not the global .minecraft folder if your launcher uses instances.
- Start a world, press M, and confirm the menu. Then load a .litematic from the schematics folder.
Litematica and MaLiLib by Minecraft version
All rows are Fabric builds tagged as releases. Older Minecraft versions (1.19.4 and below) exist on Modrinth but are not listed here. Notice that one jar often covers several game versions, and its file name carries only one of them: the 1.21.1 file is named 1.21, the 1.21.8 file covers 1.21.6 and 1.21.7, and the 1.21.10 file covers 1.21.9.
What a mismatch looks like
Every row has a dependency range in its fabric.mod.json. Litematica 0.15.4 for 1.20.1 asks for malilib 0.16.x; 0.21.7 for 1.21.4 asks for >=0.23.5; the 1.21.10 build asks for >=0.26.7 and below 0.27; the 26.3 build asks for >=0.30.2 and below 0.31. If the pair is wrong, Fabric stops at the mod-load screen and names the dependency. MaLiLib also lists conflicts with old Iris, Sodium, Tweakeroo, MiniHUD and Item Scroller on newer versions, so update those too when you update the library. The crash page is MaLiLib missing.
Which version should you pick?
- You choose. For files from this site, use 1.21.4. The generator writes data version 4189, which is that release.
- Your pack or server is fixed. Match it exactly: 1.20.1, 1.21.1 and 1.21.5 each have a page of their own with the dependency details.
- You want the newest. 26.3 has its own guide; check 26.3 not working if the Load Schematics search box misbehaves.
- You run Forge or NeoForge. Read Forge and NeoForge.
Security and version choice
In July 2026 the maintainer named fixed builds for every Minecraft 1.21+ version. Every 1.21 to 26.2 file in the table is at or above the number the maintainer named (for 1.21.10, 0.24.9 is newer than the named 0.24.8), and 26.3 was released after that announcement. The list and the flaw are on Litematica vulnerability. To read which build you already have, see check your Litematica version and how to update.
After the download: get a schematic to load
The mod only reads files. To test your install, make a small build with the schematic generator, drop the .litematic into the schematics folder, and use M, Load Schematics (steps). What the mod itself does is on Litematica mod. If you want ready-made files rather than a generated one, see Litematica schematics download.
FAQ
How do I download Litematica?
Download it from the Litematica project on Modrinth (or the CurseForge page its jars link to), choosing the file for your exact Minecraft version and the Fabric loader. Also download the matching MaLiLib and Fabric API, and put all jars in that instance's mods folder. Open the load guide.
Which Litematica version is for Minecraft 1.21.10?
litematica-fabric-1.21.10-0.24.9.jar (release, 2026-07-12), which Modrinth tags for 1.21.9 and 1.21.10. Its metadata needs malilib at least 0.26.7 and below 0.27, so use malilib-fabric-1.21.10-0.26.8.jar. 0.24.8 (2026-07-06) is the earlier fixed build.
Which Litematica version is for Minecraft 1.21.4?
litematica-fabric-1.21.4-0.21.7.jar (2026-07-06) with malilib-fabric-1.21.4-0.23.5.jar. 1.21.4 is also the version this site's generator writes files for, so the install guide here uses it.
Why do the Litematica and MaLiLib version numbers not match?
They are separate projects with separate counters. What must match is the Minecraft version and the dependency range inside the jar: for example Litematica 0.21.7 asks for malilib >=0.23.5 on 1.21.4. The table pairs the files for you.
Can I use Litematica on Forge or NeoForge?
Not the Fabric files. Modrinth says the original has a Forge build only for 1.12.2; for later versions there are third-party ports such as Forgematica. Details on the Forge and NeoForge page.
Is the table up to date?
It is a snapshot of the Modrinth API read on 2026-10-05. Mods update without notice; the Modrinth Versions tab is authoritative. If a newer file exists for your game version, take it unless its page says otherwise.
